WPT Enterprises, Inc., the firm behind the poker tournament television show World Poker Tour, has made announcements to the media regarding its newly formalized agreement with a UK-based mobile casino service provider.

WPT Enterprises, Inc. said it has agreed to tie-up with UK-based 3G-Scene Limited for a future gaming offering.

WPTE also acquired a 10% stake in 3G-Scene in a bid to establish a truly strong business partnership with the new business partner.

As part of the agreement, 3G-Scene is expected to deliver WPTE a system solution for WPT’’s mobile gambling offerings in selected countries where gambling or mobile gambling is not deemed illegal.

The cutting-edge system solution will include administration of management and sales.

The partners have made a jumpstart in the new tie-up and have successfully launched the first version of the mobile Texas Hold ‘’em poker game. The said mobile game is currently being offered by selected mobile carriers in U.K.
